1,280 Women Screened for Cancer in Maamba

1,280 women in Maamba have been screened and treated for cervical cancer during medical camps held there says Maamba Collieries Limited (MCL) Head of Corporate Affairs Janardhan Lavu. Mr Lavu also said his company regards health to be very important and it is for this reason that he is proud to announce that MCL will participate fully in the fourth medical camp to be held in Maamba. He said this in Lusaka on Friday at Government House during a ceremonial handover of a cheque worth K20,000.00 to Centre for Infectious Diseases Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) by Dr Charlotte Scott towards the medical camp.
